THREE CHOIRS SPONSORS
2010 will be the 283rd recorded Three Choirs Festival meeting, a massive achievement bearing in mind the constantly changing economic & artistic climate of the last 300 years! Classical Choral Music has gone from being the fêted musical format of the early 20th century in the time of Elgar and Vaughan Williams to relative obscurity in the minds of the British public 40 years later, and then back again with the emergence of Classic FM and the popularity of "Last Choir Standing". But through it all, the importance of perpetuating the ethos of excellence in live performance and continuing the British choral tradition of large-scale choruses performing breathtaking oratorios has shone through!
Our mission is simple:
1. Secure the future of live performance
2. Preserve the British Choral tradition
3. Maintain standards of excellence in performance
Your contribution makes a real difference to our ability to fulfil our aims.
Ticket sales cover just over 50% of our expenditure, so your support and sponsorship are vital. Thank you!
Please contact our Development Manager, Debbie Liggins on deborah.liggins@3choirs.org or 01452 529819 to discuss remaining sponsorship opportunities.
