Sarah Bishop (Falkland), journalist, TV personality and presenter of BBC's Midlands Today, joins our Worcester Friends to choose her essential pieces of music.
From the drama of the Rolf Harris trial and the dangers of the Birmingham Riots to the privilege of the Royal Rota and a strange encounter with Tony Blair's nose, Sarah has reported on some of the region's biggest stories and most loved institutions. In 25 years with the BBC, she's dealt with everyone from Prime Ministers to a one-legged chicken! A familiar face on BBC Midlands Today, she'd pop up on our TV's at the crack of dawn to read the morning news but also reported on a huge variety of subjects from the Iraq War to the Chelsea Flower Show. Now a freelance journalist and media trainer based in her native Warwickshire, she reflects on her fascinating career.
