Lucy Potter

Before joining the Three Choirs Festival in 2011, Lucy spent most of her working life in the orchestral sector. Starting at the BBC Concert Orchestra, her next role was at the Academy of St Martin in the Fields where she became responsible for international touring - during this time the orchestra was awarded the Queen's Award for Export Achievement.

Lucy later became General Manager of Manchester Camerata, based at the Bridgewater Hall. Subsequent roles included being CEO of English Sinfonia and a wide range of freelance work and consultancy, including head of orchestral touring at Harrison Parrott (maternity cover), acting Chief Executive of the Academy of St Martin in the Fields, Artistic Assessor for the Arts Council, and consultancy projects for a wide range of clients. Away from work, Lucy is a keen gardener and a regular attender at her local tennis club. She is also an amateur singer and plays the cello and oboe in her spare time.
