About Guided Walk: In the Footsteps of Elgar
Edward Elgar spent many happy and fruitful years living and writing music in the city of Hereford. This guided walk with a trained leader from the Hereford Guild of Guides features people and places associated with him, including Dan the dog, who provided the inspiration for Elgar’s eleventh Enigma Variation. Excerpts from Elgar’s repertoire will be played to accompany the walk.
