Musica Vera present their summer concert - a short voyage to Italy. The musical treats on offer will include sacred polyphony by Palestrina, delicate Italian madrigals, day trips to Tuscany and Capri by way of Elgar, an evening at the opera and popular Neapolitan songs. After the concert, which will be about an hour, there will be tea and cake to celebrate the end of another season of music making.
