Three Choirs Festival

To celebrate our 60th anniversary, Musica Vera presents a rousing programme of music from across four centuries. Nearly everything on the programme was performed by the choir in a previous anniversary year, and many of the pieces feature themes of singing and music making. Musical highlights include Handel’s Coronation Anthem, The King shall rejoice, Renaissance motets by Victoria and Palestrina, excerpts from the Requiems of Duruflé and Brahms as well as music by local composers; Herbert Howells, Gerald Finzi and Ralph Vaughn Williams.
