Mussorgsky’s stunning Pictures at an Exhibition is a remarkable musical depiction of artworks created by a close friend. This well-loved piece is presented alongside some uncharacteristically dark and mysterious music by Bliss and the powerful and elegant tones of Respighi in this recital given by the talented young players of the NYSO.
