Journey in song from the Forest of Dean to the Appalachians in this stunning recital from acclaimed duo Roderick Williams and Iain Burnside. The recital features settings of the Dymock Poets, most notably a song cycle by Douglas Weiland, as well as works by Gurney, Ireland, and Bliss. The programme moves on to settings by British composers of several American poets, including Walt Whitman, and ends with two beautiful Vaughan Williams folk songs gathered from the Appalachian Mountains.
