Lin Marsh Songs of Gloucestershire
A joyful concert featuring the second performance of Songs of Gloucestershire, a newly commissioned choral song cycle by Lin Marsh for the Cathedral’s new Singing Academy. The programme also features local composer Michael Hurd’s beloved choral cantata Swingin’ Samson, marking the twentieth anniversary of his death – do you remember singing it yourself in school? Performers include Gloucester Cathedral Junior Choir and children from local schools.
