Wotton Concert Series welcomes the award-winning choir, Tenebrae to St. Mary’s Church, Wotton-under-Edge on on 21st November.
Founded by Nigel Short in 2001 and currently celebrating its 25th anniversary, Tenebrae is renowned as one of the world’s leading vocal ensembles, and performs at major venues across the globe. Tenebrae has earned international acclaim for its interpretation of choral music from the Renaissance through to the contemporary.

Tenebrae will be presenting a wide-ranging programme spanning five centuries of sacred choral music. ‘A Celestial Gift’ features celebrated choral works by Allegri, Orlando Gibbons and others, as well as by some of today’s most exciting composers, including Joanna Marsh, Sir James MacMillan and Sir John Tavener.
