Summary
You will implement, maintain and continuously improve all aspects of financial management to ensure efficiency and stability across the organisation.
You will be part of a small central team and will report to the CEO. The Finance Manager attends and prepares reports for Finance Committee meetings which are chaired by the Treasurer of the Board.
The ideal candidate will hold an accountancy qualification and be familiar with charity/third-sector accounting practices. An experienced user of Sage 50 (or similar) and Excel, you should also be skilled at presenting financial information to a range of stakeholders.
Experience of working in an arts environment as well as an interest in choral/classical music would be a distinct advantage.
The main focus of the role will be day-to-day bookkeeping, financial management and reporting. However, there may be scope to broaden the role for the right candidate.
