Looking ahead to this summer's festival!

It’s been a long and difficult year for everyone, but the government’s recent announcements have given us all hope and a glimpse of some light at the end of the tunnel, as we start to move into spring and summer. All of us at the Three Choirs Festival are looking ahead to an optimistic future after the challenges of the last year, and we want to reassure you that there will be a festival taking place in Worcester this summer. We’re even hoping to extend the festival by a day to include an exciting new event, so the festival dates are now:

Saturday 24 July – Sunday 1 August 2021

We are now in the last stages of finalising the programme and confirming exactly what the festival will look like this year. Some things may be a little different to normal, but we know that you will understand, and we appreciate your support enormously as we all forge ahead in these changeable times. We will still be serving up a warm welcome and a festival atmosphere for you, in whichever ways we are able to do so!

We want you to know that we will continue to follow guidance, restrictions and advice in order to ensure the festival is as safe as possible for our audience, our artists and our staff. Full details on how we are making the festival COVID-safe will be available on our website, 3choirs.org, nearer to the festival.

You may remember that before Christmas we set out some provisional dates. Due to the developing government guidance, we now plan to release the full programme and festival details around mid-April. We know that attending the festival with friends is important to many of our bookers and, therefore, we are postponing our 2021 booking dates in order to hopefully make the most of the gradually relaxed restrictions.
