News Story

We are absolutely thrilled to announce that, thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, we successfully reached our fundraising goal in this year's Big Give Christmas Challenge!
Donations for the Sing my Story project have been truly transformative, and we are completely overwhelmed by the support we received over the last week. We're also hugely thankful for the support from our Champion funder, the Reed Educational Trust Limited, and a pledge from long time Festival supporters, David and Patricia Ball.
Sing My Story
Sing my Story is a special project that will see Gloucestershire schoolchildren working with professional musicians to create, write, and perform songs based on their own experiences. This will culminate in a wonderful performance on the evening of Wednesday 18th March in the stunning setting of Tewkesbury Abbey. We'd love to see you there, and more details will follow in the new year.
Thanks to the success of this year's Big Give Christmas Challenge, this important work can begin in January. We can't wait to create these incredible musical experiences.
