Performer entry

Harriet is a student at The King’s School, Gloucester where she holds both academic and music scholarships. She was an inaugural Girl Chorister at Gloucester Cathedral, and held the position of Head Chorister in her final year. During her tenure, Harriet took part in the Three Choirs Festival in all three cities, performed Mahler’s Third Symphony with the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra in Bridgewater Hall, travelled to Germany to sing with the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra and was a soloist on two BBC Radio 3 broadcasts.

Harriet initially had singing lessons with Juliet Curnow before gaining a coveted place at the Royal Birmingham Junior Conservatoire where she now studies with Claire Wild. Recent engagements include: Rutter Magnificat with Clevedon Choral Society; Britten Ceremony of Carols, Schubert Mass in G, and Mozart Vespers with Fairford Choral Society; Bach St John Passion and Monteverdi Vespers with Gloucester Cathedral Choir; Bach Christmas Oratorio with Tyndale Choral Society; Faure Requiem and Vivaldi Gloria with Newent Choral Society; and solo spots for Cirencester Male Voice Choir and the Believe in Gloucester Awards. Harriet was a finalist in the Bromsgrove Young Musicians Platform last year and enjoys performing in charity events to raise money for local and national charities.

Alongside her singing, Harriet is an avid pianist, having achieved a distinction in her Grade 8 piano exam in December. Harriet is an advocate for mental health and raises awareness on her social media platforms. She is a keen actor and dancer and aspires to combine her love of the arts in a future career as an opera singer.
