Australian mezzo-soprano Lotte Betts-Dean is celebrated for her dramatic flair and musicality, encompassing a vast repertoire from contemporary and early music to opera and non-classical collaborations. An Associate of the Royal Academy of Music and Ambassador for Donne, she champions gender equality in music.

Lotte is a noted interpreter of new music, premiering over 30 works and appearing at major festivals globally, including Aldeburgh, West Cork, and the Australian Festival of Chamber Music. Recent operatic roles include debuts in Spain and Switzerland, with future engagements at Wigmore Hall and the Bayerische Staatsoper.

Awarded the Oxford Lieder Young Artist Platform with pianist Joseph Havlat, their performances, including Messiaen's Harawi, have garnered critical acclaim. Lotte has also received numerous other accolades, including prizes from the Royal Over-Seas League and the Musician’s Company.
