Alexis Paterson

Alexis moved to the Cotswolds in 2011 to work as Cheltenham Music Festival Manager, before joining Three Choirs at the start of 2016. Previously she’d worked for Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, Presteigne Festival, and as a composer’s assistant, researcher and occasional lecturer at Salford and Cardiff universities, the latter of which awarded her PhD in 2011. Alexis plays the violin and viola on a semi-regular basis, and loves to sing in the odd scratch choir, but doesn’t think she’d pass the TCF chorus auditions! To keep fit she kickboxes, and loves long-distance walks, good books, craft beer and travel.
