Bill arrived as a young student in the UK in the early 1990s from Hong Kong. He has since been working in the arts and cultural sector for over 20 years. Geeky with a sleeves-up attitude, he is always thinking of creative ways using technology and media to build partnerships and diverse audiences. Bill is the Head of Digital Innovation at Curious Minds, a charity that connects young people, schools, teachers and youth workers with creative practitioners and cultural organisations, giving them access to information, expertise, space and resources including training and development. He was previously the Head of Digital at the Hallé in Manchester, enabling the orchestra to adopt a digital-first approach to planning and delivery. In his spare time, Bill is a keen professional photographer. He is also a trustee of the Manchester Mid-day Concerts Society.
