Big Give Christmas Challenge

This year, the Three Choirs Festival are taking part in the Big Give's Christmas Challenge in support of our 2024 Participation project Nature Sings. The project will explore the ways in which the world around us has inspired beautiful seasonal music, and we are inviting people from across Worcestershire to take part. There will be many ways to get involved throughout the year but we are particularly looking for Worcestershire schools to take part in Sing Together.

We are offering the opportunity for children aged 9-12 (school years 5-8) to take part in the project with their school. Children will receive a series of workshops at school from January 2024, where they will learn songs about the natural world, ready for a performance to parents, friends and members of the public in March. It’s a wonderful opportunity for children across Worcestershire to get involved in singing with others.

All children at participating schools will be eligible to sign up to perform again in our big festival week concert in Worcester Cathedral, alongside older youth choirs, adult singers and professional musicians.

What is the Big Give Christmas Challenge?

The Christmas Challenge is the UK’s biggest match-funded campaign.

For seven days, the challenge offers supporters of participating charities the opportunity to double their donations — and, in doing so, make an extraordinary difference to the world’s biggest challenges.

Every donation is doubled by our match-funding champion, meaning that for every £1 you donate, we get £2!
