About Ex Cathedra | Monteverdi Vespers

Claudio Monteverdi’s famous 1610 Vespers never fails to astonish. Written on the cusp of the Renaissance and Baroque, it dazzles with vocal and instrumental virtuosity, burns with fervent devotion, and invites us into its intimate, sensual solos, duets and trios. Don’t miss Jeffrey Skidmore’s final concerts before retirement – and an unforgettable opportunity to hear this music of extraordinary scale and invention.

Running time approx. 2 hours including interval.

Enjoy 10% off tickets for both concerts if you book tickets for Ex Cathedra's ChristmasMusic by Candlelight (16 Dec 2026) and Monteverdi Vespers (16 Jun 2027) concerts in the same transaction.
