About Summer Recital at Syde

Join us in a charming venue in the picturesque Cotswold village of Syde for an unforgettable song recital from an outstanding young performer. Rising star of the Royal Birmingham Junior Conservatoire and Festival Youth Choir member Harriet Perfect will perform a programme of songs from the classical to the modern day, including works by Eric Whitacre and Madeleine Dring. Harriet will be accompanied by renowned pianist Havilland Willshire, who will also treat us to Debussy’s magical La cathédrale engloutie – a perfect summer’s evening of song in the glorious Gloucestershire countryside.

As a fundraising event for Gloucester 2026, Tickets are £10 but a further suggested donation of £20 (or more) would be appreciated and will be collected on the day (cash or card).
