  2. The Sanders Society Composition Competition

    The winning composer will receive the John Sanders Memorial Prize for Choral Composition of £1000, the possibility of a publishing contract with Encore Publications, and the winning composition will be considered for performance at an Evensong during the 2023 Three Choirs Festival.

Naomi is taking the place of Dr Timothy Brain OBE who, during a significant tenure as Chair, has seen the professionalisation of the organisation.

  9. 2022 Festival Programme Preview

    75 years ago, in 1946, the Three Choirs Festival was revived in Hereford after a gap of seven years during the Second World War. Much of that year’s festival was carried over from the fully-planned programme for 1939.
