At the heart of the Festival Village is the Community Bandstand, a platform on which we celebrate music making and creativity in our host city.

Highlights from Hereford 2022 included toe-tapping music from Hereford Folk Ensemble, story-telling from Edward Derbyshire, John Gorman the Nukelele Man, and Hereford Big Band, who were a real highlight of the final day and had people dancing on the cathedral green to the strains of Frank Sinatra!

It was wonderful to see so many people and families enjoying the music in the sunshine, and the bandstand gave the festival a brilliant atmosphere for all those in the cathedral close.
